It was kind of funny that after yesterday’s post I get on Facebook this morning to find a friend of mine posted some information on oils that were applicable to my discussion yesterday. I was quite excited to share them with you.
You can go to this blog for more information. The blog is where the photo is from and the creator has many other oils and their uses. But look at just this one oil and see all the things it does and what it replaces. The best part is that there are no side effects like these over the counter (and sometimes prescribed) medication. How cool is that?!?! I don’t want to sound like I have gone head first blindly into the oils. I still think there is a time and a place for western medicine and even medication but why not try oils first, try them while you wait for your appointment with the doctor. What can it hurt? It can only improve your situation.
This other picture my friend shared is from a different website. It is just a woman who has created and put on the web pictures of ailments and which oils to you. She has over 400… go check them out!!! The thing is, I have always heard to drink ginger ale and suck on peppermint when I had a stomach ache, why not go to the oil and eliminate the sugar I’m getting from the soda and candy.
The two biggest hurdles I find in using oils is: 1)getting the oils (They do cost a bit money and I can’t buy them all at once.) 2) changing my thinking to be my go to item. We tend to just not use anything so it’s not like we’d just swap the medicine for the oil, we just typically let our body do what it needs to but the oils, I believe, will support our body through the process toward healing.
So there you have it, more of my 2 cents. I’d love to hear what you think!

I’m with you on this because switching to avocado oil has helped my skin out tremendously, and there is noooo way I’m going back to the old stuff:))
I really like coconut oil for everything, mostly because it’s awesome and I love the smell.
