A fantastic alternative to cheese, this recipe is perfect for dipping vegetables or as a spread. Tofu is made from soy beans that contain a complete plant protein and packed with vitamins and minerals.

250g solid tofu, cut into large chunks
70g / ⅓ cup pine nuts
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
¼ teaspoon salt
a pinch pepper
15g fresh basil leaves


  1. Place all the ingredients in a food processor container.
  2. Blend for 2-3 minutes to a smooth paste.
  3. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and serve, or keep in the fridge in an airtight container.
