This Privacy and Cookie Statement explains how Renewmyday B.V., its parent company Holistic Health Concepts International B.V. and partners (“Renewmyday”, “we” or “us”) by the exploitation of its’ (sub-)domains www.renewmyday.com, www.program.renewmyday.com, https://eap.renewmyday.com, platforms and programs as well as the websites, platforms and programs of current and future partners, including psychologists, counsellors and experts, of Renewmyday (“websites”) collect, use, and disclose information about you when you access or use websites including mobile applications, and other online products and services or otherwise interact with us or one or more of our partners.

At Renewmyday we value transparency and openness; we are transparent about how we manage and process personal information. Renewmyday and its’ partners use personal data appropriately.

Personal data that we process

We (including our partners, psychologists, counselors and experts) process the personal data of (potential) users of our services and the services, visitors to our websites, sub-domains, platforms and programs, and all other people who contact us.

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process

Our websites and/or services have no intention of collecting information about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age. Unless they have permission from their parents or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in the online activities of their children, to prevent data being collected on children without parental permission.

If you are convinced that we have collected personal data on a minor without such consent, please contact us at info@renewmyday.com and we will delete this information.

On some occasions, we may record phone, video (conference) calls or live streaming events with your consent, such as in connection with our program(s) or online sessions.

Automated decision making

Renewmyday does not make decisions about issues that can (significantly) affect people, based on automated processing. These decisions are made by computer programs or systems, without a human being (such as an employee, psychologist, counsellor, expert or partner of Renewmyday) being involved.

How long do we keep personal data?

Renewmyday will keep your personal data no longer than strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which your data is collected.

The retention period for invoices is 7 years, because of the retention period required by the tax authorities.

Sharing of personal data with third parties

Renewmyday will only share personal data with third parties under the following conditions:

Sharing personal data is necessary for providing a service or engaging a third party. Thus, employees, psychologists, counsellors, experts or partners of Renewmyday) being involved:

will only have access to the personal data they require for their part of the service and will not be allowed to process the data for their own purposes.
The third party with access to the personal data has committed itself to Renewmyday to keep the data confidential.
The third party is obliged to comply with applicable data protection legislation.
In case of a legal obligation of Renewmyday to share the data.

There are three categories of third parties with whom we may share your data on a need-to-know basis:

External service providers involved in the relevant processing activity (see overview below);
Parent, sister and/or subsidiary companies of Renewmyday engaged in the appropriate processing activity;
Public authorities, when required by law.

With companies and contractors that perform services for Renewmyday;

If we believe users’ actions are inconsistent with our user agreements or policies, if we believe users have violated the law, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of Renewmyday or others;

Reviewing, modifying or deleting data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You can do this yourself via the My Profile settings of your account. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your possible consent for the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by our company and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can request us to send the personal data we have on you in a computer file to you or another organisation named by you.

Cookies, or similar techniques, we use

Renewmyday uses functional, optimization and marketing cookies that do not infringe on your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical functioning of the website and your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and remember, for example, your preferences. They also enable us to optimise our website and services. You can change your cookie settings following the link in the top of this Privacy Policy, unsubscribe from cookies by configuring your internet browser in such a way that it no longer saves any cookies. In addition, you can delete all information previously stored using your browser settings.
